As with any visual art, looking at an artist's work is like seeing the world through their eyes, even just for a minute or two. This gives us an opportunity to see a different perspective of the things around us. Sometimes the artist captures the beauty of places you have not and possibly never will have the opportunity to see, or sometimes they capture the ugliness of things you may not see nor ever want to see. Either way, the images that a photographer captures with a camera are the world in which they live. I like to think that the things I point my lens at are things that maybe your average person might never pay attention to. I find interesting compositions in the dark and forgotten areas of the places I visit. As with any other art form you may have interest in, sometimes you enjoy the work and sometimes you don't, but that is what is so special about photography. Some of you might find the images I capture interesting and unique, and some of you might wonder what on earth I am thinking. Either way, the images I share with you are hopefully thought-provoking, and they give you a unique perspective on the world that I live in.
