Being a transplant resident of the State of West Virginia has given me a unique perspective to the Mountain State. There are so many beautiful and unique things about West Virginia. I enjoy the beauty of the Mountains but WV has such a rich heritage in the coal industry that has been devastated by the changing ideas of power generation. The small towns are filled with boarded up buildings and dilapidated houses that tell a story of a state that has seen better economic times.
